The Camrose & District Centennial Museum received a grant November 05, 2010 from Alberta Museums Association to hire a Data Entry Clerk. We retained Alyssa Sharp, a history student at Augustana who also worked here as an interpretive programmer summer 2009 and as the Data Entry Clerk from November 2009.

The Camrose & District Centennial Museum currently has nearly 15,000 artifacts in its paper & photos collection. Photos, newspapers, books, documents, family histories, Camrose business histories and Camrose business artifacts range in age from the late 1800’s to the 1980’s. Over the past year, the museum has been working to bring this important collection up to current preservation and storage standards.
The Camrose & District Centennial Museum currently has nearly 3000 artifacts in its textiles collection. Hats, shoes, clothing, quilts, and accessories range in age from the 1860’s to the 1960’s.
